The Decker Foundation will not make grants directly to individuals. Further as a general rule, we will not make grants for: · Endowments · Religious organizations for religious purposes · Operating expenses · Continuing support · Travel and trips
Additional Information Grants are made upon the approval of the Board of Trustees. Generally, grants are made on a one-year basis, and will be paid on a mutually agreeable schedule. Recipients must report periodically: · Acknowledging receipt of the grant · Progress reports on expenditure of funds awarded · Upon termination of the grant period, a complete accounting of all disbursements · Project success versus expectations
Grant amounts are not based on a specific formula, but instead on a full review of individual circumstances and the fundraising strategy proposed by the applicant. Applications for amounts under $5,000 are considered at any time and must meet the same guidelines as applications for larger amounts, except for the deadlines. For grants of $5,000 or smaller, only one copy of application is needed.
Interest in the Decker Foundation is welcome. Application forms are available by phone, by written request or by download from this website.
